British Gas UK

British Gas is a trustworthy supplier of energy to your home and you can view their range of tariffs directly from their website. If you are joining British Gas for the first time, you can choose a tariff that is best suited to you and your home. The Standard (Variable) tariff offers variable pricing that will move up and down depending on the market, is available to pay as you go (smart meter) customers, there are no exit fees should you choose to leave the contract and you will receive a £15 dual fuel discount. If you want to know which is the best tariff for you, you can receive a quote online or you can call the British Gas UK Call Centre.

British Gas Homecare

British Gas has a range of homecare products to ensure that you are getting the most out of your energy services. Like their tariffs, there are a few options when it comes to homecare cover. The options range from HomeCareOne which for just £10 per month you will receive an annual boiler service as well as boiler and controls that protects you from future charges should your boiler break down. For the maximum payment of £17.50 per month (currently discounted from £19.50), you can be protected by the HomeCare Four cover which has all of the possible additions with British Gas including Annual Boiler service, boiler and controls, central heating, drains and plumbing and home electricity. In between these prices are HomeCare 2 and HomeCare 3.

All of British Gas HomeCare covers offer an annual service on your boiler to make sure it is working as it should be. Depending on the insurance that you pay for, you will also be covered if your boiler breaks down. If you are having issues with your boiler you must contact British Gas either online or at the helpline and they will arrange for a serviceman to come out and take a look at the issue.

British Gas Smart Meter

At British Gas, you can choose to have a smart meter installed in your home. Smart Meters are a way of viewing how much energy you are using, as you use it. The digits will be displayed on the meter itself, via the electronic display. Enquire today if you would like to upgrade to a smart meter.
