Virgin Atlantic Check In
If you are flying on an international flight with Virgin Atlantic, online check-in will open 24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. It will close 70 minutes before the flight leaves, so ensure that you check in as soon as possible. During online check-in, you will be able to see and change your seats, add your baggage and advanced passenger information, and print your boarding pass. Note that if you are flying with Virgin Atlantic’s partner airline Delta, you’ll need to use the Delta website to check in.

About Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic was founded over 30 years ago by an American lawyer and British pilot as British Atlantic Airways. The lawyer, Randolph Fields, met Richard Branson at a party and proposed a business idea which became Virgin Atlantic Airways. He later sold his stake due to differences with Branson. In 1984, the inaugural service was launched between Gatwick and Newark Airport (New Jersey).
Today, Virgin Atlantic is owned by Virgin Atlantic Limited, which is turn is owned by a mixture of the Virgin Group and Delta Air Lines. The airline’s main bases can be found at London Gatwick and London Heathrow, with another base at Manchester Airport.
