Sky Products and Services

Sky is a telecoms provider with a number of different services available. A popular Sky product is the subscription TV service where you will get a number of channels that are unique to Sky, such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and Sky Movies. A second popular service is Sky Broadband where you can select a bandwidth speed which collates with your browsing needs. Lastly, Sky offers a landline telephone service, known as Sky Talk.

Occasionally, you may need help and support in managing your Sky services. This could include setting up Sky equipment such as your router or Sky+ box, wishing to upgrade your TV or broadband package or making a complaint about your billing. Sky regularly refers customers to their online support forums for assistance, but we have the Sky Helpline Number available on this page where you can call for assistance- that number is 0844 826 8012.

Sky Broadband

There are four different broadband packages available from Sky. They are:

  • Sky Broadband Unlimited: Up to 17mb download speed, unlimited usage.
  • Sky Fibre: Up to 38mb download speed, 25GB limit for monthly usage.
  • Sky Fibre Unlimited: Up to 38mb download speed, unlimited usage.
  • Sky Fibre Max: 76mb download speed, with unlimited usage.

All of the broadband contracts run for a length of 12 months and have line rental with a Sky Talk connection included. You will need to pay an initial set-up fee for your broadband which covers the cost of your router and any work that needs to be carried out by an engineer.

If you are already a BT, TalkTalk, Plusnet or EE broadband customer, it’s really easy to switch to Sky Broadband. Sky has a Switch Squad who will do all the hard work for you. You’ll be able to keep your current phone number and take emails with you, plus your broadband will only be down for a few minutes.

Broadband comes with Sky Broadband Shield which is an internet filter to protect you from harmful websites, as well as a Sky Hub and Sky Wifi.
