One way to pay your bills with OVO Energy is via their account services. This is done manually once you receive your monthly bill. If you’re having a problem making a payment to OVO, or you need help retrieving your account details, call the accounts team on this number and someone will help you once you have answered your security questions on their automated phone service.

PAYG Meter Services

“PAYG” is an acronym standing for “Pay As You Go”. These “pay as you go” meters allow OVO customers to use only the electricity they’ve paid for, and pay only for the electricity they use! Replacing standard billing, which can sometimes be inaccurate and frustrating, the PAYG meter allows customers to pay before using the energy! Then once that’s done, the electricity can flow; however, make sure to keep it topped up!

If you need help with your PAYG meter, you can call the dedicated helpline. This number can become busy, which is why you may be placed in a queue until someone from the team can help you further.

Switching with OVO

If you would like to change either to or from OVO as your energy provider, you can do so by calling the dedicated line. This is an automated line, which means that you will be asked questions regarding your account before speaking with a member of the team.

Energy Plans

OVO has a different range of tariffs available to you, and all are adaptable to your needs for an energy plan. When you call Ovo, someone will be able to find the best tariff for you based on your needs. This line isn’t automated. However, you may be placed on hold if the line becomes busy, which it does at peak times throughout the day.
