About Lloyds Bank
Lloyd’s Bank is a bank based in the UK with branches across both England and Wales. The bank itself was originally founded in Birmingham in 1765 and as it began to expand, it began to take over a number of smaller companies and in 1995 began to trade as Lloyd’s TSB Bank PLC. The bank traded under this name until 2013, when TSB began its business and Lloyds Bank was renamed with the name it has today. Lloyds bank is now known as the largest retail bank in Britain and has around 16 million customers for personal banking. The 2016 British bank Awards awarded Lloyds Bank tenth place out of twelve.
