Who are Interlink?
Interlink Express are a parcel distribution company which specialise in time critical deliveries. It was first launched in 1979 as just a motorcycle courier but became an overnight courier in 1981. They are owned by La Poste, the second largest postal group in Europe. Interlink Express currently have over 100 depots in the UK and Ireland. Their headquarters is in Birmingham which is a £51m super processing centre, processing 27, 000 parcels every hour. They have 2,500 vehicles delivering these parcels and as a result have over 30, 000 customers. Interlink express are best known as part of the DPD delivery group.
Interlink Express offer a range of products and services which allow for your business to deliver their critical parcels on time. The UK services offer a by 10.30 am service, a by 12pm service a next day service and Saturday and Sunday deliveries by as early as 10.30 to extend the working week. Interlink Express offer support and coverage 7 days a week to everyone in the UK. If you are in the UK and sending parcels abroad then Interlink can also proivde a fast and easy delivery with their Air Classic and DPD Express services. Air Classic will connect you to more than 200 countries across the globe and is ideal for new retailers who are looking to expand into and export to global markets. Not only is it a great opportunity for expansion, it also provides a secure delivery service, notifying you and your customers every step of the way. They also offer full traceability, making missing parcels a definite thing of the past. You can opt to have a special, tailored service if you need to transport items that are bulky, unusual or complicated. The tailor made delivery options can either be done by road, air or sea to meet the special needs of their clients. If you are using the DPD Express or Air Classic service and have not received your parcel on the date you were told to expect it, then please call the Interlink Helpline.
Interlink Direct have recently invested in a brand new way to send your parcels direct and pay for them quickly and easily, without having to create an account. Simply visit the Interlink Express website and select to send a parcel. If you are unsure of what you would like to do, you can also get a quote if you would like to know how much the service will cost for your item. If you do not want to use the online service, you can drop your parcel off directly at any of the 99 Interlink UK depots, postage is always convenient. If you do want to send your parcel online, enter your email address so that Interlink can send you a label to attach to your item, the country that you are having your items delivered to, the postcode of where you want your items to be sent and your own postcode so that Interlink can come and collect your items in the first place. You then need to measure and weigh your parcel – please ensure that this is correct or there might be a delay in your service. Once this has all done you can choose your service and enter your payment details. You can choose to pay via debit, credit card or Paypal. If you are having any issues using the online service, or your parcel has not been collected from your address for delivery, then please call the helpline. By entering your parcel reference number and your postcode into the Interlink website, you can track your parcel at any time online. If you have forgotten your reference number then please call the helpline. You can track your parcel both if you are expecting to receive one or if you have sent one. If you have received a calling card because you were not at home when your parcel was being delivered, then you can find the reference number of your parcel on your card, and use it to look up its whereabouts.
Becoming an Interlink account holder is simple and free. Whether your business is small or large, you can use your account to see all of your shipping activity in the one place which means you can then track your consignments, rearrange parcels that need to be re-collected, and locate your nearest depot if needs be. To speed up future processes, you can save your shipping preferences so that they are automatically put onto your next order.
