In the UK, ASOS is one of the largest online fashion retailers. ASOS sells a range of products from clothing to accessories, shoes to beauty and more. The company stocks a range of popular brands including Adidas, Self Portrait, Boohoo, Missguided, River Island, Office and Chi Chi London. There are also several brands which are ASOS-owned including ASOS Salon, ASOS White, ASOS Petite and ASOS Curve. With the latter brands, ASOS designs the products in-house so they are exclusive to them. ASOS has a strong presence in the fashion community, with a large social media following, a popular blog and even an ASOS magazine which is sent out to customers. Alongside the main ASOS website, there is the ASOS Marketplace where smaller brands can sell their items through ASOS, so they will get more brand exposure and reach more customers. ASOS is well-known for it’s Premier subscription, where customers can pay a one-off fee of £9.99 in exchange for unlimited, free next-day delivery for a year. There are plenty of other options for ASOS delivery including click and collect.
If you’re looking for the ideal present for someone special, ASOS has an extensive gifts section, or you can opt for a gift voucher. You can purchase gift vouchers directly from the ASOS website in denominations between £20-100. Simply add a message and your gift voucher will be sent via email to the recipient.
As mentioned above, the ASOS Marketplace lets you shop directly from independent brands through ASOS. You will find thousands of unknown, independent brands as well as vintage boutiques. Current brands listed on the marketplace include Pretty Lavish, The Vintage Scene, Cosmic Saint, Ill Fortune and Olive and Frank. To list a boutique on the marketplace, it costs £20 every month and you will need to pay 20% commission from every sale. You’ll need to stock 10-15 styles constantly as an independent brand and 20 as a vintage boutique. You’ll also need to follow a photography guideline. In return, you will have access to the ASOS audience, a personal account manager, an editable boutique and coverage across the ASOS website, newsletters and social media.
Whether you’re looking for a comfortable jersey dress, a workwear dress for the office or an evening dress for an upcoming event, ASOS has one of the best online selections. As well as ASOS own brands, you’ll find dresses from the likes of Frock and Frill, Lavish Alice, Miss Selfridge, New Look, Ted Baker and Virgos Lounge. Dresses are available from all price points, from £10 to £350.
If you are a size 16-30, you’ll find plenty of fashionable styles at ASOS from many different brands. You can also shop up to size 18 in ASOS’ own brand main collection for even more choice. ASOS has developed a clothing range specifically for plus sizes, ASOS Curve, where the clothes have been tailored to flatter figures. You’ll find coats, jeans, jumpers, dresses, tops and jumpsuits.
Whilst comfort is important whilst you are pregnant, you don’t have to compromise on style. ASOS has developed its own maternity range made up of dresses, jeans, trousers, tops and coats to keep you comfortable and fashionable during your pregnancy. You’ll also find suitable clothes for nursing once the baby has arrived. ASOS Maternity also comes in petite and tall sizes, so whether you’re short or tall, you will find the perfect fitting clothes. The Maternity section also stocks a range of clothes from popular maternity brands such as New Look, Mamalicious, Bluebelle, Missguided Maternity and Chi Chi Maternity.
